Amy McKee is in her thirteenth year as the Royals director and was the director of the Running Brushy Silver Stars for five years prior to joining the Rouse High School family.
Amy is a former member of the Trinity Valley Community College Cardette Drill Team and served as freshmen representative and captain her sophomore year. She was also a two year member of the elite Cardette pop squad. She is currently a staff member of the Cardette Dance Your Heart Out Camp. Amy is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Amy was a member of the Eta Alpha chapter of the Kappa Delta sorority where she served as a SET leader. She was also a member of Aggie Coaches and Kinesiology teachers.
Amy is a 11 year member of TDEA and has been a workshop presenter. She is passionate about helping her students grow as leaders both in the school and community. She wants to see her dancers not only grow in their dance technique, but learn how to work together to achieve their goals.
Amy is married to a wonderful man, Jonathan, and they have a son, Logan and a daughter, Landry.
Sarah is originally from San Antonio, Texas where she was the head captain of the Churchill High School Lancer Dancers. She then attended the University of Texas at Austin and majored in secondary education and dance. She was a member of the prestigious Texas Pom Squad, performing for hundreds of thousands fans at UT football and basketball games.
After graduating in 2013, she moved to Arizona and was hired as the JV pom coach and dance teacher at Chaparral High School. In 2016, the Chaparral JV Pom team won the UDA National Championship in the Pom category. She was then hired as the varsity pom coach at Desert Mountain High School and built a strong program, creating both JV and Varsity competitive teams. The varsity pom team saw many successes under her leadership and competed at the national level, making finals at UDA Nationals in 2019.
Sarah moved back to Austin in the spring of 2019 and was hired at Rouse High School as the assistant director. She is so excited to be back in the Texas dance scene and to be joining the Rouse dance family! In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her friends and family especially her husband, Ryan, and dog-daughter, Juno.
